White Mountain videos

The White Mountain folk festival is an annual event that takes place near Giant’s Castle in the Central Drakensberg region of Kwa-Zulu Natal from 24-28 September. If you have been to Splashy Fen before this is basically a mini-version of that whole scene, only with more acoustic-type music and a much more mature, less inebriated crowd.

This was the third White Mountain festival and the event seems to be growing in popularity. I highly recommend it and suggest booking accommodation in the lodge if you’re not the camping type. It is during the rainy season after all.

  1. Apologies for putting these up so late – Youtube’s been giving me hassles and wordpress doesn’t seem to accept the embed code from Myvideo. And I do have a day-job!

I also apologise for the poor quality of the third video. I met James on the first day and followed the hippie around for days trying to chat to him. Yet he was always either hung-over or otherwise unfit to talk on camera. I wanted to get him sitting outside his teepee smoking a peace pipe or something 🙂
